Another batch of 37mm Anti-tank Guns is now ready for immediate shipping. This was the main US anti-tank artillery piece issued to US Army and US Marines at the onset of World War II. They were quickly rendered ineffective against the more heavily armored tanks in the European Theater before they could even be brought into use. However, their compact design and relatively light weight made this an ideally suited to the  the Pacific campaigns, against lightly armored Japanese vehicles, small fortifications and “Banzai” charges. This light howitzer we designed for use by Airborne troops but is often also associated with Marine Corps campaigns of World War II.
